Cabinet Reshuffle Rumours Circulate, Seskab Teddy: Just Wait

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Lieutenant Colonel TNI Teddy Indra Wijaya has neither denied nor confirmed rumours of a cabinet reshuffle to be conducted by President Prabowo Subianto.

Teddy asked the public to wait for clarity on the ministerial reshuffle.

“Just wait,” said Teddy at the Palace, Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/4/2026).

He only mentioned that Prabowo would explain everything.

“Later, the President will explain. Okay. Thank you all,” said Teddy.

Previously, on 5 February 2026, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi stated that there were no plans for a cabinet reshuffle by Prabowo.

“There is none (reshuffle), we are approaching the holy month of Ramadan, approaching Eid, as just announced earlier, this is how the government is working hard so that the entire society can observe the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid later in the best possible way,” said Prasetyo.
