Cabinet Reshuffle: Prabowo Appoints M Qodari as Head of the Government Communication Agency

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Muhammad Qodari as the Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) on Monday (27/4/2026). Qodari’s inauguration was carried out based on Presidential Decree Number 52/P of 2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of the Presidential Staff Office and the Head of the Government Communication Agency. “Appointing Muhammad Qodari as the Head of the Government Communication Agency,” stated the master of ceremonies. “Signed by President Prabowo Subianto,” he continued. Subsequently, Prabowo administered the oath to Qodari and his colleagues, according to their respective religions. Qodari now serves as the Head of the Republic of Indonesia’s Bakom, replacing Angga Raka Prabowo. Meanwhile, the position of the Presidential Staff Office vacated by Qodari is filled by Dudung Abdurachman. Besides Qodari, Prabowo inaugurated Hanif Faisol as Deputy Minister Coordinator for Food Affairs, Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of Environment, Dudung Abdurachman as Head of the Presidential Staff Office, Hasan Nasbi as Special Presidential Advisor for Communication, and Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency.
