President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Dudung Abdurrahman Hanif, the Presidential Special Advisor for Defence, as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). The inauguration was conducted by Prabowo at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026) based on Presidential Decree (Keppres) of the Republic of Indonesia No. 52/P concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of the Presidential Staff Office and the Head of the Government Communication Agency. During the inauguration, Prabowo read and dictated the oath of office, which was followed by Dudung and the other appointed officials. With this inauguration, Dudung replaces M Qodari, who previously served as KSP and is now inaugurated as the head of the Government Communication Agency. In addition to Dudung, Prabowo also inaugurated Hanif Faisol as Deputy Minister Coordinator for Food Affairs, Jumhur Hidayat as Minister of Environment, M Qodari as Head of the Government Communication Agency, Hasan Nasbi as Presidential Special Advisor for Communication, and Abdul Kadir Karding as Head of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency. He is the son of the couple Nasuha and Nasyati, who work as civil servants (PNS) in the environment of Kodam III/Siliwangi. Dudung is a graduate of the Military Academy (Akmil) class of 1988 and has held various strategic positions within the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). One of the important milestones in his military career was when he served as the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) from 2021 to 2023. Before becoming KSAD, Dudung also led the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Kostrad) and the Jayakarta Regional Command (Kodam Jaya/Jayakarta). Before being appointed as KSP, Dudung served as Presidential Special Advisor for Defence.
