Cabinet Reshuffle: Dudung Receives Instructions from Prabowo on KSP Duties
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Retired General Dudung Abdurachman, the President’s Special Advisor on National Defence Affairs, has stated that he received instructions from President Prabowo Subianto regarding the duties of the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) a few days ago.
Dudung also confirmed that he will be inaugurated this afternoon on Monday (27/4/2026), after receiving a call from Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya earlier today.
“Yes, the guidance is that the KSP’s tasks include controlling and overseeing activities related to national priority programmes; I’ll explain more after the inauguration,” Dudung said at the Palace in Jakarta on Monday (27/4/2026).
“Oh, I’m a soldier; I must be ready, especially when it’s the President’s order,” he added.
Dudung also mentioned that he has already coordinated with the current KSP head, M Qodari.
Regarding whether he will hold two positions simultaneously, Dudung suggested that his role as Special Advisor might be handed over soon.
“Yes, perhaps in the near future, the previous one will be handed over,” Dudung said.
“Will you resign?” asked a reporter.
“It will depend on the President’s instructions,” Dudung replied.
