Cabinet Reshuffle: Dudung, Qodari, and Hasan Nasbi Arrive at the Palace

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Presidential Special Advisor for National Defence Dudung Abdurachman, General Chairman of the All-Indonesian Confederation of Trade Unions (KSPSI) Moh. Jumhur Hidayat, and former Head of Presidential Communications of the Republic of Indonesia Hasan Nasbi arrived at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday.

Their arrival coincided with news of the inauguration of new officials in the ranks of the Cabinet Merah Putih led by President Prabowo Subianto.

In addition, Minister of Environment (LH) Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Chief of Presidential Staff Muhammad Qodari, and Minister of Protection for Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) for the period October 2024 - September 2025 Abdul Kadir Karding were also present.

These figures arrived at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta starting at 1:50 PM WIB.

The first official to arrive was Jumhur Hidayat, followed by Qodari, Abdul Kadir Karding, Dudung, and finally Hasan Nasbi. They arrived wearing complete suits with kopiah and light blue ties.

Dudung said he was contacted by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya to attend the inauguration process at the Presidential Palace on Monday afternoon.

“Yes, yesterday I was called by Lieutenant Colonel Teddy, the Cabinet Secretary, in preparation for going to the Palace at 2:15 PM WIB for the rehearsal, and 3:00 PM WIB for the inauguration,” said Dudung in response to reporters’ questions.

However, Dudung declined to reveal what new position had been entrusted to him by President Prabowo. He only stated that he was ready to accept any assignment from the Head of State.

“Oh, I am a soldier, I must be ready, especially the President’s orders,” Dudung said firmly.
