Jakarta (ANTARA) - Presidential Special Advisor for National Defence Dudung Abdurachman, General Chairman of the All-Indonesian Confederation of Trade Unions (KSPSI) Moh. Jumhur Hidayat, and former Head of Presidential Communications Hasan Nasbi arrived at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday.

Their arrival coincided with news of the inauguration of new officials in the Merah Putih Cabinet led by President Prabowo Subianto.

Also present were Minister of Environment Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Chief of Presidential Staff Muhammad Qodari, and Minister of Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection (P2MI) for the period October 2024 - September 2025 Abdul Kadir Karding.

The first official to arrive was Jumhur Hidayat, followed by Qodari, Abdul Kadir Karding, Dudung, and finally Hasan Nasbi. They arrived wearing complete suits with songkok caps and light blue ties.

Dudung said he was contacted by Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya to attend the inauguration process at the Presidential Palace on Monday afternoon.

“Yes, yesterday I was called by Lieutenant Colonel Teddy, the Cabinet Secretary, preparations to go to the Palace at 14:15 WIB for rehearsal, 15:00 WIB for the inauguration,” said Dudung in response to reporters’ questions.

However, Dudung declined to reveal what new position had been entrusted to him by President Prabowo. He only stated that he was ready to accept any assignment from the Head of State.

“Oh, I’m a soldier, I must be ready, especially the President’s orders,” said Dudung firmly.

Meanwhile, Jumhur said his presence at the Presidential Palace was to attend the inauguration. However, he declined to answer regarding the position he would hold.

Regarding the new position he would hold, Qodari mentioned it would be related to the communication of the government currently handled by the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) RI.
