C. Java to host junior c'ships

SEMARANG (JP): Teenagers are invited to compete in the sixth Gotong Royong Cup junior national tennis championships at Sasana Ambirawa Raga here from March 12 to March 18.

The chief of the organizing committee, Suhartono Lenggono, said here the championships would feature both boy's and girl's singles and doubles events. The champion, runner-up and second runner-up will be given trophies, prize money and sports equipment from sponsor PT Hi-Qua.

He said the matches would be held at an international-level stadium that recently was renovated.

Ambarawa also will host a women's satellite event at the end of April.(har)
