C. Java players join Asian C'ships squad

SEMARANG (JP): Five soccer players from Central Java have been
invited by the Ministry of National Education to join the
national team in the Asian Soccer Students Championships in Sri
Lanka in January.

The five players are Dwi Adi Yuwono, Eko Prasetyo, Suswanto,
Suparno and Haryanto.

Hariyadi said that the five players would join the team in the
Ragunan Sports School and would be coached by Edy Santoso.

"I hope they can perform well in the Asian Championships. It
will be difficult because big countries including Japan, China,
South Korea and Thailand will also compete," he said. (har)
