C. Java judokas join SEAG training

SEMARANG (JP): Central Java judokas Wijayanto Purnomo and Lita
Theresia have been invited to join the 2001 Southeast Asian (SEA)
Games centralized training program.

The official in charge of athlete development at the
Indonesian Judo Association's Central Java chapter, Edy Sumedi
Suyoso, said on Friday the two athletes would continue training
in Central Java for the time being. They will join the
centralized training program at the Indonesian Judo Center in
Ciloto, West Java, six weeks prior to the Games, which will take
place in Kuala Lumpur.

Wijayanto won the gold medal in the men's 100-kilogram
division at the 15th National Games, while Lita took the gold in
the women's 56-kilogram division. (har)
