BYOND BSI Surpasses 6 Million Users, Transactions Reach Rp 820 Trillion in 2025

JAKARTA – The trend towards a cashless lifestyle is gaining momentum, particularly among the younger generation, driving a surge in the use of mobile banking services.

One application recording significant growth is BYOND, owned by PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BSI. Since its launch in November 2024, the app has developed rapidly.

By the end of 2025, the number of BYOND users has reached around 6 million, out of BSI’s total of more than 9 million mobile banking users.

“Through BYOND, we aim to provide easy, secure, and inclusive services to support daily transaction needs,” said Anggoro on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

From a transaction perspective, user activity also shows strong growth.

Throughout 2025, the number of transactions via BYOND was recorded to exceed 730 million, with a total value of around Rp 820 trillion.

One popular feature is Gold Savings, which allows people to start investing with a small amount, namely starting from Rp 50,000.

This service has driven the number of gold savings users to surpass more than 530,000 customers.

In addition, the digital hajj savings feature has also recorded significant growth.

Not only financial services, BYOND also offers social and spiritual features such as zakat payments, infak, and qibla direction indicators.

The integration of these various services is considered aligned with the needs of modern society that prioritises practicality.

Looking ahead, BSI is committed to strengthening digital transformation through technology enhancements and service ecosystem development in 2026.
