BYD Sales at Haka Auto Reach 1,000 Units Per Month
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – BYD electric vehicle sales through Haka Auto’s dealer network continue to show significant growth. Sales of BYD electric vehicles at Haka Auto have now surpassed 1,000 units per month. CEO of Haka Auto, Hariyadi Kaimuddin, said the sales surge began in late 2025 as public interest in electric vehicles increased. He added that the increase happened rapidly after BYD aggressively introduced various electric vehicle models in Indonesia. ‘Yes, the sales surge occurred in late last year. Our BYD sales took off immediately,’ Hariyadi said. As of May 2026, BYD has cumulatively delivered approximately 90,000 vehicles in Indonesia. This success is due to BYD’s strategy of offering a comprehensive product line across various segments, from hatchbacks and sedans to SUVs and electric MPVs. Additionally, the introduction of Denza as a premium electrification brand has further expanded BYD’s consumer reach. Haka Auto is continuing to expand its dealership network to bring sales and after-sales services closer to consumers across various regions. With the expanding dealership network, consumers are finding it easier to learn about electric vehicle technology, test products, and access service and spare parts. This positions Haka Auto as a key player in BYD’s expansion in Indonesia over the coming years.
