BYD Prepares Latest Version of Atto 1

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of Public & Government Relations PT BYD Motor Indonesia Luther Panjaitan stated that the company is preparing a new development that the Atto 1 will have in Indonesia. “For that, we are preparing in the near future to officially inform what development, what development in this Atto 1 product,” said Luther Panjaitan in Jakarta on Tuesday. Currently, there are reports circulating that the brand is raising the price for the Atto 1 product by up to Rp10 million. Therefore, Luther believes that this increase is not just a straightforward rise. One social media post mentions that the vehicle has several changes, such as electric mirrors, electric driver’s seat, and a more spacious centre console with a new column shifter for the Dynamic variant. Meanwhile, for the Premium variant, this Atto 1 vehicle also has several more modern changes, starting from electric folding mirrors, a 360 panoramic camera, and a more spacious and modern centre console with a column shifter. Regarding the current price, this compact vehicle from BYD is priced at Rp199 million for the Dynamic variant and Rp235 million for the Premium variant. Meanwhile, the circulating news states that the two vehicle models will be priced at Rp245 million for Premium, while Dynamic at Rp205 million. In Indonesia, this pure electric vehicle is equipped with a Blade Battery (LFP). The BYD Atto 1 comes with two range options of 300-380 km, an electric motor of 75 PS (55 kW), and acceleration from 0-50 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
