BYD Prepares Affordable Variant of Atto 1 in Indonesia

BOGOR, KOMPAS.com - BYD Motor Indonesia is signalling the launch of a new variant for its flagship electric city car, the BYD Atto 1, at a more affordable price. This step is intended to expand the reach of electric vehicle consumers in Indonesia, while maintaining the appeal of the Atto 1, which has so far received positive feedback from the market. Head of Public & Government Relations at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Luther Panjaitan, stated that the new variant is likely to be named Standard or STD.
