BYD Launches Han EV Flash Charge Edition Priced at Rp453 Million
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automaker BYD Auto has officially launched its latest electric sedan, the Han EV Flash Charge Edition, in the Chinese market. According to Carnewschina on Tuesday local time, the model is available in two variants priced from 179,800 yuan (approximately Rp453 million) to 187,800 yuan (approximately Rp473 million). The main highlight of this model lies in its super-fast charging technology combined with the second-generation Blade battery, as well as an intelligent vehicle system. Even in extreme conditions down to minus 30 degrees Celsius, the charging time only increases by about three minutes, demonstrating a significant improvement in battery thermal efficiency. In terms of performance, this electric sedan is equipped with a 240 kW electric motor equivalent to 322 hp, with 0–100 km/h acceleration in 6.5 seconds. Its energy efficiency is claimed to reach 10.8 kWh per 100 km, lower than the Tesla Model 3’s approximately 11.2 kWh per 100 km. The model comes standard with the DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit, which features remote vehicle control via a mobile app, exterior voice alerts, and a rest mode that automatically reclines seats while playing ambient sounds. For autonomous driving, the God’s Eye 5.0 driver assistance system uses an end-to-end large model based on reinforcement learning, supporting autonomous lane changes on highways, automatic overtaking, and passing through ETC. Customers can optionally equip the advanced version with LiDAR, enabling urban driving features including traffic light recognition, unprotected turns, and following in dense traffic. The exterior continues BYD’s signature Dragon Face design language with five colour options, including Frost Gold and Pine Shadow Green. Interior comfort features include new ventilation and heating for the rear seats.
