Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automaker BYD has launched the Fang Cheng Bao Ti7 crossover equipped with flash charging technology. According to Carnewschina on Thursday local time, this model, which will be marketed globally under the name BYD Ti7, is claimed to achieve a range of up to 755 km. The new model retains the overall design from the plug-in hybrid version but incorporates the latest features, including the second-generation Blade battery and flash charging technology. The Fang Cheng Bao Ti7 is a larger-sized SUV with dimensions of 4,999 mm in length, 1,995 mm in width, and 1,865 mm in height. The vehicle is equipped with a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a 26-inch W-HUD, an AC knob screen, and a rear AC control screen. For intelligent driving assistance, the model features the “God’s Eye B – Advanced Driver Assistance Laser Edition.” Fitted with the second-generation Blade battery and flash charging technology, charging from 10% to 70% takes five minutes, while from 10% to 97% takes nine minutes. At -30°C, charging from 20% to 97% takes three minutes longer than at normal temperatures. The BYD Fang Cheng Bao Ti7 EV Flash Charging Edition is available in two variants starting from 199,800 yuan (Rp506 million) and 209,800 yuan (Rp531 million).
