BYD is still hosting the BYD Tech Culture Fest 2026 in the GBK Senayan area of Jakarta, until Sunday (24 May 2026). The festival, which has run since 20 May, offers an immersive experience of new energy vehicle technology through a range of interactive activities open to the public.

Through the festival, BYD is showcasing a variety of electrification innovations, from EV technology to the DM (Dual Mode) platform. Visitors can get up close to technologies such as e-Platform 3.0, Blade Battery, and the latest DM platform introduced across interactive zones.

During the event, more than 40 BYD and DENZA vehicles are displayed across different exploration areas. Visitors can also get behind the wheel of BYD’s electric vehicle line via test-drive sessions available at the festival area.

One of the main attractions is the Monster Track Off-Road Arena that uses the DENZA B5. The area features extreme-track simulations such as hill climbs, uneven terrain, and a seesaw to demonstrate the vehicles’ capabilities in varied conditions.

Additionally, visitors can experience the Speed Test Ride using the BYD Seal 6 DM, which will soon be launching in Indonesia. The session showcases the acceleration characteristics and the comfort of BYD’s electrified vehicles firsthand.

President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao, said the festival aims to bring new energy vehicle technology closer to everyday life. “Through the BYD Tech Culture Fest 2026, we want the public not only to see new energy vehicle technology but also to feel how these innovations can be applied in daily life. Because for BYD, technology is not merely a future innovation but must be part of everyday life for Indonesian people,” Zhao said.

The festival also features lifestyle and community areas accessible to all, from culinary zones, children’s activities, technology showcase, to VtoL experience booths. Various sports and entertainment activities are also staged to create a more interactive festival atmosphere.

A number of entertainment performances are scheduled throughout the weekend, including Diskoria, Lyodra, Yura Yunita, and Tipe-X. In addition to entertainment, there are discussions on the development of electrification and the future of sustainable mobility in Indonesia.

Head of Public & Government Relations for PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Luther Panjaitan, said the festival is not just a technology showcase. It also serves as a space for interaction among the community, families, and the public to learn about the development of future mobility that is more environmentally friendly.

“Through this festival, we want to demonstrate that the development of future mobility technology can be enjoyable, easy to understand, and relevant to everyday life,” Panjaitan said.
