JAKARTA — PT BYD Motor Indonesia is preparing six mudik (holiday exodus) assistance posts to support the travel of electric vehicle users during the 2026 Lebaran period.

The posts will be placed at several strategic points along the Trans-Java Toll route, which is a favoured route for holiday travellers.

Eagle Zhao, President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, stated that this facility is being prepared as a form of support for BYD consumers who undertake mudik journeys using electric vehicles.

From an operational perspective, BYD’s mudik posts will be divided into two service periods.

The first period runs from 13–20 March 2026 with post locations as follows:

  • West Java

  • Central Java

  • East Java

Meanwhile, during the second period running 21–25 March 2026, BYD’s mudik posts will operate at two points, namely:

  • West Java

Additionally, these posts form part of BYD’s efforts to support the development of an electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia, particularly for intercity travel that requires supporting infrastructure and additional services for electric vehicle users.
