BYD adds variants and upgrades the Atto 1, what's new?
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT BYD Motor Indonesia has introduced a refreshed version and added a new variant of the BYD Atto 1, namely the STD type, as part of its efforts to provide affordable electric vehicle options for the people of Indonesia.
“Through the refresh of the BYD Atto 1 and the introduction of the new STD variant, we want to provide an accessible electric mobility solution with more diverse choices for Indonesian consumers,” said President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao, in a press release on Friday.
The refresh of the New Atto 1 features several improvements in specifications and features. One of these is the addition of an electronic column shifter and a new design for the centre console across all variants, creating a more modern cabin appearance while also creating a more spacious and ergonomic interior for daily use.
Meanwhile, the Premium variant receives further improvements through the addition of a panoramic image, a 12.8-inch infotainment screen, and additional safety features that further enhance the modern driving experience.
On the safety and comfort side, the New Atto 1 Premium also retains its flagship features such as side curtain airbags, TPMS, rear 3 radars, tilt & telescopic steering, and several specifications that are also found in the “Dynamic”.
To provide more varied choices, BYD also introduced the Atto 1 STD as the latest variant designed to provide an affordable electric vehicle option while still maintaining a modern driving experience.
This latest type is also equipped with a rear view camera, steering wheel tilt adjustment, and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen to support daily use.
The Atto 1 STD uses 15-inch wheels with wheel covers, halogen projector headlights, and an interior configuration that remains focused on efficiency and urban mobility needs.
The STD variant is available in Sprout Green, Apricity White, and Cosmos Black exterior colours, combined with a Black + Grey interior to create a modern cabin atmosphere.
The BYD New Atto 1 Premium, BYD New Atto 1 Dynamic, and the new BYD Atto 1 STD are marketed in Indonesia at prices of IDR 245 million, IDR 205 million, and IDR 199 million, respectively.
