By 4 Days Before Eid, 59,678 Passengers Arrive at Daop 3 Cirebon

CIREBON – As the Eid holiday draws near with four days remaining, passenger arrivals at various stations throughout the Daop 3 Cirebon region continue to climb, Tuesday (17 March 2026). Prospective passengers have been advised to arrive at stations earlier than usual given the heavy traffic flow to the stations.

Muhibbuddin, Public Relations Manager for Daop 3 Cirebon, reported that as of 09:00 WIB today, 9,028 passengers had arrived at Daop 3 Cirebon stations. This figure is likely to increase further by evening as monitoring of outbound holiday passenger flow has shown a steady rise over the past six days.

“Over the past six days, the daily average of passengers arriving in Cirebon has been approximately 8,000 people,” said Muhibbuddin on Tuesday (17 March 2026).

Meanwhile, 5,356 passengers departed from the Daop 3 Cirebon region. Muhibbuddin explained that overall, from 11-17 March 2026, a total of 59,678 passengers have arrived at stations within the Daop 3 Cirebon area. Departing passengers reached 32,695.

“Based on available data, the highest peak in passenger arrivals occurred on 14 March 2026 with 10,397 passengers,” Muhibbuddin stated.

Muhibbuddin noted that the number of tickets sold in the KAI Daop 3 Cirebon region during the Eid transport period from 11-16 March 2026 totalled 60,195 tickets. This figure represents 59 per cent of the 102,300 available seats.
