WHO expects more SARS scares: Many more suspected SARS cases are

diseases, the World Health Organization said on Friday as it
investigated the latest case to surface in China. A 20-year-old
waitress in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, is
suspected of having deadly Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. Her
case surfaced days after China confirmed its first SARS infection

nationwide terror alert on Friday, a U.S. official said on
condition of anonymity ahead of a press conference by U.S.
Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge at 11:30 a.m. (11:30 p.m.
