Busway to recruit 15 woman drivers

JAKARTA: Busway operator PT Jakarta Express Trans (JET) is
looking for 15 women to be hired as busway drivers.

JET director for finance and general affairs Ibnu Susanto said
a special team was in charge of the recruitment.

"All candidates must have the required qualifications. They
must have a license for driving a bus, must be in a good health
and be below 40 years of age," he said.

Aside from driving skills, the candidates must be able to do
minor repairs and have knowledge about the engine.

"That will be included in the material for the selection
test," he said.

The new drivers will receive a monthly salary of about Rp 2
million, one meal per day and free dormitory accommodation.

The company said the deadline for applications was the end of
