Local gadget and wearable accessories brand JETE recorded three Indonesian Museum Records (MURI) in September 2026. This achievement comes amidst the expansion of its store network and the development of activities targeting communities and lifestyle.

The three awards achieved by JETE were for the categories of gadget accessories with the most outlets, the most extensive after-sales service, and a running event with the highest variety of supporting activities.

The awards were presented during the JETE RUN Festival 2026 at Surabaya City Hall on Sunday, 6 September 2026. The Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, along with 6,000 participants including athletes, influencers, media, and invited guests, attended the event.

Outlets and After-Sales Service as Main Pillars

The retail network has been a pillar of JETE’s expansion in recent years. As of September 20 and 2026, the number of JETE outlets has reached 159 locations spread across various regions in Indonesia.

This figure led JETE to achieve the MURI record for the category of gadget accessories with the most outlets. However, the function of these stores is not merely as transaction points.

CEO and Founder of JETE, Jhonny Thio Doran, stated that JETE outlets are developed using an ‘experience store’ concept. Consumers can try devices directly while receiving information regarding products that suit their needs.

“We see that the presence of stores is not just as a place to buy products. JETE wants to be closer to consumers in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua,” said Jhonny, as quoted on Wednesday (9/9/2026).

The same retail network is also utilised to provide after-sales services. According to Jhonny, consumers can access services such as repairs and warranty claims through this network.

This service coverage also led JETE to receive the MURI record for the category of the most extensive after-sales service. The presence of 159 outlets provides the company with more points of interaction with consumers. On the other hand, the widening network also brings the demand for consistent service quality at every location.

JETE Expands Engagement via Running Festival

The company is also expanding consumer interaction through sports, community, and lifestyle activities. One such example is the JETE RUN Festival 2026 held at Surabaya City Hall on 6 September 2026. The event recorded 21 supporting activities within a single programme.

This number of activities led JETE to achieve its third MURI record for the category of a running event with the most diverse supporting activities. This year’s JETE RUN combined wellness, creativity, entertainment, and community activities.

Activities presented included pilates, poundfit, healthy gymnastics, and zumba. There were also creative activities such as matcha making, flower decoration, perfume making, and painting workshops.

This series was also connected to JETEFEST 2026, held from 3 to 6 September 2026 at the Oval Atrium, Ciputra World Surabaya.

JETEFEST featured technology and lifestyle-themed activities, ranging from pilates sessions with Daniel Choi and classes in digital marketing, AI, and content creation, to competitions such as gaming, cosplay, dance, and fashion shows.

On this occasion, JETE also introduced the JETE SOUND 2_026 album. This album contains 10 songs and 3 singles that serve as the theme song for JETE RUN 2026.

According to Jhonny, the presence of the album is part of the effort by the brand—identifiable by its orange colour—to connect sports with entertainment and community activities. The songs are available via the Spotify music streaming service.

MURI Records and Future Business Challenges

The three MURI records represent a new milestone for JETE. However, the growth of the retail network, services, and product lines also brings increasingly significant challenges.

Jhonny stated that these achievements would not have been possible without the support of consumers, the team, family, partners, and the community that has followed JETE’s progress.

“Thank you to all the people in Indonesia who have supported and trusted JETE as a choice for daily activities. This achievement would have been impossible without the support of my family, team, JETE fans, and the public,” he said.

He added that awards should not cause a company to stop evaluating itself. Maintaining product and service quality remains a vital task amidst changing technology and evolving consumer needs.

“The MURI certificates obtained are indeed the best achievement this year. However, we must not become complacent and forget about quality. This serves as a reminder for the brand to continue innovating amidst continuously developing technology,” he said.

With a network that has reached hundreds of outlets, he noted that the next challenge is not only related to adding more points of sale. Consistency in after-sales service, product development, and the ability to understand consumer needs are also aspects that must be maintained alongside company growth.

JETE’s Business Portfolio Continues to Grow

JETE’s business development is also evident in the increasing categories of marketed products. The brand was previously well-known for gadget accessories such as power banks, data cables, and audio devices.

As the market evolves, JETE’s portfolio has expanded into wearables, sports support equipment, computer accessories, and smart home products.

In the wearable and sports segment, JETE offers products such as smartwatches, running bags, and soft flasks. For computer needs, the company is developing lines of mice, keyboards, mousepads, and cooling devices for smartphones and laptops.

Expansion is also being undertaken in the smart home category through products such as CCTV, smart alarms, smart lamps, and power stations. This expansion demonstrates JETE’s business direction, moving from gadget accessories towards…
