Business Diversification: This Issuer Eyes Profit from Free Nutritious Meals Programme
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Automotive component issuer PT Cipta Perdana Lancar Tbk (PART) is targeting a 46.18% year-on-year (yoy) increase in net profit for 2026, in line with the company’s business diversification. The company previously announced it is diversifying its business, including producing equipment to support the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme.
Currently, PART’s non-automotive business covers the production of various types of machinery for agricultural needs as well as household equipment related to government and non-government programmes in the agriculture and food and beverage industry sectors. This move began development in the second half of 2025.
As of June 2026, PART has recorded revenue of Rp177.64 billion. Net profit was recorded at Rp9.11 billion, a slight increase from Rp8.56 billion the previous year.
“This diversification step does not change PART’s focus on the automotive business, which continues to show positive growth in the range of 5-15% per year. On the contrary, the non-automotive business is present as a complementary growth engine with a higher growth rate and increasingly broad market opportunities,” as quoted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) information disclosure, Friday (28/8/2026).
PART itself is targeting revenue of Rp413.62 billion, an increase of approximately 11.91% compared to 2025 revenue. Along with this, net profit for 2026 is projected to reach Rp44.16 billion, an increase of approximately 46.18% compared to 2025 net profit of Rp30.21 billion.
“The diversification we are undertaking is not to abandon the automotive business, but to strengthen PART through new sources of growth. We continue to maintain the automotive component business as the main foundation, while developing the company’s fabrication capabilities to capture opportunities in the non-automotive sector,” said PART Director Tjoeng Rino Saputra, also known as Ayung, separately.
Previously reported, PART wants to expand its consumer reach by introducing a Tray Food product based on domestic components or full TKDN (Domestic Component Level).
“The background to the addition of this KBLI (Indonesia Standard Industrial Classification) is based on the high competition in the manufacturing industry and the high demand for Tray Food to support the Government’s Free Nutritious Meals Programme,” as quoted from the IDX information disclosure, Friday (4/7/2025).
