Bus-pulling competition enlivens Indonesia's 81st Independence Day celebrations

A bus-pulling competition was held at Tidar Terminal in Magelang, Central Java, on Thursday (13/8) to enliven the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia’s independence. Organised by the Magelang City Transportation Agency (Dishub), the event saw participation from terminal employees, members of the Indonesian Transport Workers Union (SPTI), provincial transportation agency staff, civil service police (Satpol PP), street vendors, bus agency representatives, and local micro, small, and medium enterprise (UMKM) players. The activity served as entertainment and a means to strengthen camaraderie and togetherness.
