Bus fumes annoying

We, the residents of Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan (Gg. Perintis I)
Kelapa Gading Timur Sub-district, North Jakarta, feel deeply
annoyed and disturbed by the presence of Arion Bus depot and the
reckless acts of its drivers who start work at around 5 a.m. and
continue until late in the evening. Obviously, they don't seem to
care about the concerns of residents in the vicinity.

When they start the engines in the morning, the smoke from
their exhaust pipes almost always gets into the residents'
houses, causing them to suffer from respiratory ailments such as
coughs or breathing problems.

Every body knows that smoke is black in color; but what really
annoys us are the noise and terrible effects of the pollution
(since the residents live right behind the depot).

The management of the bus company should be aware of the
harmful effects of exhaust fumes. This matter has actually
already been raised by the residents, but so far there has been
no serious response or steps taken by the management.
