Bus burned on Pancoran overpass

JAKARTA: The Warga Baru bus -- an inter-city bus plying
Jakarta-Cirebon, West Java -- caught fire on the Pancoran
flyover, South Jakarta, on Tuesday at about 12:50 p.m.

The fire forced motorists behind the bus to stop their
vehicles, causing congestion on the toll road.

Detikcom news portal reported that firefighters had managed to
extinguish the fire by 1:10 p.m.

Police blocked the toll road, causing further congestion, not
only on Jl. Jend. Gatot Subroto, but also on Jl. Rasuna Said and
Jl. Jend. Sudirman.

No casualties were reported in the accident. -- JP
