Bus and Logistics Operators Support B50, Demand Quality Assurance

The Organisation of Land Transport Owners (Organda) has confirmed its support for the government’s B50 biodiesel programme, which was officially launched by President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday, 9 July 2026, as part of a national energy transition and security strategy. Kurnia Lesani Adnan, Secretary General of Organda’s Central Executive Board, stated that the transport and logistics sector had been actively involved in the B50 trials, providing crucial feedback to improve the programme’s implementation. However, Organda has highlighted concerns regarding the storage quality of the biofuel blend, noting that improper storage could compromise the fuel’s standards and lead to increased engine maintenance costs, particularly due to more frequent filter damage.
