Burson-Marsteller approval

JAKARTA (JP): International communications firm Burson-
Marsteller said yesterday it had received a green light from the
Ministry of Justice to operate in the country under the name of
PT Burson-Marsteller Indonesia.

The company's Asia-Pacific president and chief executive
officer, Ferdinand de Bakker, said the approval made the company
the first global public relations management firm to operate in
Indonesia.

De Bakker also announced the appointment of Lim Hock Jin as
the new managing director of PT Burson-Marsteller Indonesia.

Burson-Marsteller offers its clients consulting and
communications services. (das)
