Burning issue

I have a comment about the forest burning by some
irresponsible people in Riau. I was deeply concerned and ashamed
when I accompanied my European friend to visit Lake Toba, which
was entirely covered with smoke originating from the forest fire.

I could not show him the fabulous view of the lake which we
are all proud of.

If the government does nothing to stop the practice of burning
the forest, I am convinced we will not only destroy our natural
resources but also ruin tourist attractions. I appeal to the
government to take necessary actions against those responsible in
order to save our natural beauty, including the deep blue sky and
green hills around Lake Toba.
