Buol Regency Government Proposes 32 SPPG Kitchens for Underdeveloped Regions
Palu (ANTARA) - The Buol Regency Government in Central Sulawesi has proposed the construction of 32 Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) kitchens in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas. “We proposed this three months ago, for 32 SPPG 3T points, and to this day there has been no news,” said Buol Bupati Risharyudi Triwibowo in Palu on Wednesday. He explained that in the proposal, the Buol Regency Government is providing support in the form of land provision for the construction of the SPPG. However, he said the regency government cannot provide budgetary support due to current efficiency measures. “Currently, there are only nine SPPG in Buol, and those are independent,” he stated. Head of Administrative Affairs for the Palu KPPG, Muhammad Aril Putra, said the construction of the 3T SPPG kitchens is part of efforts to expand the reach of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Programme, particularly for communities in areas with limited service access. “The 3T SPPG kitchens are designated for areas with a maximum of 1,000 beneficiaries,” he revealed. He added that in addition to SPPG kitchens still under construction, two 3T SPPG kitchens have been completed, located in Tojo Una-Una Regency and Banggai Regency respectively.
