Buol Regency Government Optimises Free Health Check Programme Through Community Events

The Buol Regency Government in Central Sulawesi is optimising the Free Health Check (CKG) programme through community social activities as a means of outreach and health service delivery in the region. Secretary of the Buol Regency Health Office, dr. Ariyanto S Panambang, stressed the importance of implementing the CKG programme so that its benefits can be felt maximally by the community. “Of the 11 districts in Buol, there are still three districts that each have two community health centres, namely Bukal, Momunu, and Paleleh districts,” Ariyanto said in Buol on Friday. He noted that these three areas have two community health centres due to high population numbers, large geographical areas, and the many villages that must be served. According to him, out of a total of 14 community health centres operating in Buol Regency, several have been able to meet the daily targets for the CKG programme. “We are continuously taking strategic steps so that this free health check programme can optimally benefit the community,” he said. He explained that the Buol Regency Health Office consistently intensifies outreach regarding the Free Health Check programme so that it becomes more widely known and utilised by the public. “Essentially, we are present through community social activities and ensure that all community health centre staff in each area can promote the free health check so it can reach more people,” he stated. He mentioned that the public can access the free health check service by using the Satu Sehat Mobile application, via WhatsApp, or by visiting the community health centre directly. Ariyanto invited all residents of Buol to take advantage of the ongoing free health check programme to improve the overall health status of the community. “This free health check can help detect health conditions earlier, so that treatment can be carried out appropriately,” he said.
