Bung Karno's signature

Bung Karno's signature

From Pikiran Rakyat

The New Order government used to regard March 11 as a sacred
day because it commemorated the issue of the March 11
Instruction.

The government interpreted the order as a power transfer.

Recently, the media has discussed at length details concerning
its issuance and the loss of the original document. It is said
that the March 11 Instruction consisted of two pages. This is
strengthened by the testimony of prominent people including
former vice president Sudharmono. However, the print media cites
a copy of one page only.

The question is who made the one-page version of the March 11
Instruction? Also, who falsified the signature of Bung Karno (as
RI's first president Sukarno was popularly known)? I think this
requires thorough investigation because counterfeiting the letter
and signature of a president is more evil than tapping his
telephone conversation.

If Attorney General Andi Ghalib is confused about detecting
the power abuses of former president Soeharto, he should look
into this fraudulent case.
