The SOE Agency is partnering with several institutions to execute its streamlining programme, which focuses on the rehabilitation and simplification of State-Owned Enterprises. Involved agencies include the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Law, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Audit Board (BPK).

These state institutions will serve as the SOE Streamlining Oversight Team, acting as part of the broader effort to create healthy, strong, and competitive SOEs. The Oversight Team held a strategic coordination meeting at Wisma Danantara on Friday (3/7).

The meeting was attended by senior officials from the relevant agencies, including the Junior Attorney General for Intelligence, Reda Manthoria, and the Deputy Minister of Law, Eddy Hiariej.

Reda Manthoria stated that his office is committed to ensuring the SOE streamlining process results in enterprises that are healthy, strong, and clean.

“Today’s meeting is intended to provide input regarding the streamlining of SOEs so that they are managed effectively and in accordance with applicable legal procedures,” said Reda, as reported via his official Instagram account.

It is hoped that through comprehensive oversight and cross-institutional collaboration, the streamlining process will serve as a vital foundation for building SOEs that are more resilient and globally competitive. This is also intended to strengthen the role of SOEs as drivers of national economic growth and value creators for all Indonesian people.

“Naturally, we want SOEs to become increasingly effective and efficient in the future, as they represent one of the hearts of our national economy,” he concluded.
