REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The Badan Pengaturan (BP) BUMN has established regulations through Circular Letter of the Head of BP BUMN Number 3 of 2026 on Work From Home (WFH) and the Energy Optimisation Programme in the Workplace within BUMN and Subsidiaries. The Head of the Bureau of Communication and Institutional Relations, YB Priyatmo Hadi, stated that this regulation refers to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number M/6/HK.04/III/2026 dated 31 March 2026 on Work From Home and the Energy Optimisation Programme in the Workplace.

“In the regulation, WFH is implemented for one working day per week,” said Pri in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026).

Pri added that the implementation of WFH is adjusted by each BUMN according to the characteristics of the industry and operational needs. BP BUMN emphasises that BUMNs must maintain productivity and the quality of services to the public.

“Meanwhile, for units or sectors that are critical and directly related to public services, the implementation of WFH may be exempted,” said Pri.

In addition, Pri continued, BP BUMN will also monitor the implementation of the efficient work culture programme within the BUMN environment.
