BUMN Employee Status KDMP Manager Vacancy Attracts 220,364 Applicants

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) revealed that interest in registering for managers of the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives (KDMP) is exceptionally high, with the number of applicants already surpassing the set target.

Zulhas stated that as of Sunday (19/4/2026), the number of registrants for KDMP managers and Merah Putih Fishing Village managers had reached 284,393, broken down into 220,364 for KDMP managers and 64,029 for Merah Putih Fishing Village managers.

“The number of registrants for managers in KDMP and Merah Putih Fishing Villages as of yesterday reached 284,393,” Zulhas said during a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs office on Monday (20/4/2026).

Furthermore, according to him, as of today at 10:30 WIB, the number of registrants for KDMP and Merah Putih Fishing Village managers has increased to 383,830. However, Zulhas did not provide details on this latest figure.

“So, those who have registered, as of today at 10:30 WIB, total 383,830 people,” he continued.

Meanwhile, the recruitment target for KDMP and Merah Putih Fishing Village managers is 35,476 workers, with 30,000 in KDMP and 5,476 in Merah Putih Fishing Villages.

Zulhas continued that this recruitment process is transparent, honest, and does not guarantee immediate acceptance for registrants, as there is a selection process.

“We state that the registration is open, transparent, honest, and no one can guarantee direct acceptance. It’s open, just as it is,” he explained.

For information, applicants for KDMP and Merah Putih Fishing Village managers will undergo strict selection by the government, where candidates are D3 to S1 graduates from all majors, with a maximum age of 35 years and a minimum GPA of 2.75. The selection is conducted online through official government channels.

Registration can only be done through the official website, ensuring the selection process will be fair.

Zulkifli also urged prospective applicants to be wary of various forms of scams that promise passing without going through the official selection process.

“No party can guarantee passing. If there is a party that asks for compensation and promises passing, that means it’s a scam, lying,” Zulhas emphasised firmly.
