Bulungan Regent Hands Over President Prabowo Subianto's Eid Sacrificial Animals to Mosque

Bulungan Regent Syarwani delivered sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah from President Prabowo Subianto to Masjid Jami Habib Ahmad Alkaf in Tanjung Selor Hulu Village, Tanjung Selor District, Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan (Kaltara), on Tuesday, 26 May.

‘I am delivering the sacrificial animals entrusted by President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr H. Prabowo Subianto, to the people of Bulungan Regency via the management of Masjid Jami Habib Ahmad Alkaf, which includes an 800kg Simmental cow,’ Syarwani said at the Masjid Habib Ahmad Alkaf compound in Bulungan Regency, North Kalimantan, on Tuesday.

On behalf of the people of Bulungan Regency, Syarwani expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation to President Prabowo Subianto for his attention and concern towards the local community.

‘With the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, we pray that the President and his entire cabinet are granted strength and health as they continue to build the Indonesia we all love together,’ he said.

‘Alhamdulillah, this is the first time we have received assistance from the Indonesian president; we hope it benefits the community, especially in the Arab Village area (Tanjung Selor Hulu),’ said Idrus.

‘During this Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Masjid Jami Habib Ahmad Alkaf received five sacrificial animals, one of which is from President Prabowo,’ Idrus added.

‘Besides the President’s contribution, there are also two cows from the North Kalimantan Provincial Prosecutor’s Office and two from community donations,’ he said.

This year’s sacrificial animal count at the mosque is higher than last year’s four. All will be slaughtered at the Bulungan Regency Agriculture Department’s Animal Slaughterhouse (RPH).

‘We will all be slaughtered at the RPH. Then, for smaller cuts and distribution at Masjid Jami Habib Ahmad Alkaf, we will use a coupon system. Coupons have already been distributed,’ he said.
