Bulog's Rice Stock Reaches 4.5 Million Tonnes, Sufficient for the Next 11 Months

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Workers are unloading rice at the Bulog Warehouse in the Sunter Timur Warehousing Complex, Jakarta Regional Office for DKI Jakarta and Banten, Jakarta, on Tuesday (7/4/2026). The government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, has revealed that the stock of the Government Rice Reserve (CBP) in Bulog warehouses is secure for needs over the next 11 months in facing the Godzilla El Niño. The current rice stock in Bulog warehouses reaches 4.5 million tonnes and will increase by 5 million tonnes by the end of April, along with private rice stocks of 12.5 million tonnes and predicted additional harvests of 2 million tonnes per month.
