Bulog States Transformation and Digitalisation Drive Company Performance
JAKARTA - Perum Bulog states that it continues to strengthen business transformation based on innovation and digitalisation to increase the company’s competitiveness and support national economic development. Bulog’s President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said that these transformation steps are in line with the company’s efforts to improve service quality to the public. Rizal revealed this in connection with the BUMN Entrepreneurial Marketing Awards (BEMA) 2026 received by the company. According to him, the achievements attained by the company are the result of the work of all Bulog personnel in driving business transformation and strengthening public services. In its statement, the company mentioned that the corporate transformation is also carried out through strengthening marketing strategies, brand management, and the utilisation of digital technology. The assessment in the BUMN Entrepreneurial Marketing Awards (BEMA) 2026 refers to the modern marketing concept developed by Philip Kotler and Hermawan Kartajaya. Founder and Chair of MCorp Hermawan Kartajaya said that Bulog was deemed worthy of the award due to the company’s achievements and performance in supporting national food self-sufficiency. “It is proven throughout this year, Bulog has shown extraordinary performance. With those achievements, it is not surprising that Bulog’s leadership also received the Best CEO award. In addition, Bulog has been able to maintain national rice reserves at more than 5 million tons,” he said. Hermawan added that the award is given as a form of appreciation to SOEs and regional SOEs that are assessed to be able to build competitiveness through innovative marketing approaches and customer-oriented. The award was given by the organiser MarkPlus Inc for the company’s performance in marketing strategies, brand management, and the utilisation of digital technology.
