Bulog Proposes Reinstatement of Natural Rice Allowance for Civil Servants

KOMPAS.com - Perum Bulog’s President Director, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, has proposed the introduction of natural rice allowances for civil servants (ASN), TNI members, and Polri personnel. The national rice stocks, which are abundant, are sufficient to reinstate the natural programme. “While Bulog’s rice is plentiful, we suggest that in the future, TNI, Polri, and ASN also receive Bulog rice as natural allowances like in the old days when we were young,” said Rizal, quoted from Kontan on Wednesday (6/5/2026). “Hopefully, if it receives approval.
