BULOG Ensures Sustainable and Well-Maintained Distribution of Minyakita

BULOG has emphasised that the company continues to manage stocks and distribution optimally in accordance with the government’s assignments.

Director of Operations at Perum BULOG, Andi Afdal, stressed that as the distribution operator, BULOG consistently ensures that the distribution of Minyakita reaches the public through various distribution channels.

“The distribution of Minyakita continues to be carried out in a measured and sustainable manner. BULOG is also continuously strengthening coordination with all stakeholders to ensure smooth supply in various regions, especially in areas with distribution challenges such as eastern Indonesia,” said Andi in a written statement on Thursday (30/4/2026).

Furthermore, Andi stated that the distribution of Minyakita by BULOG is conducted through various channels and networks. This step is taken to maintain affordability of prices and ensure that the public continues to have access to subsidised cooking oil.

BULOG is also continuing to promote the strengthening of a more efficient and targeted distribution system, as well as increasing the capacity of oil storage warehouses. These efforts aim to enhance public access, maintain price stability in accordance with regulations, and ensure more equitable distribution.

As part of the national food ecosystem, BULOG is committed to continuing to maintain supply and price stability, including for essential cooking oil commodities.

“BULOG will continue to be present in carrying out the government’s mandate to ensure the availability and affordability of food for the public,” Andi concluded.
