BULOG Engages Stakeholders to Support Food Security Through Mini Soccer Fun Match
Perum BULOG held the BULOG Mini Soccer Fun Match in the Bintaro area of Tangerang on Saturday (11/7). The event served as a forum to strengthen synergy and open a space for discussion with members of the media, communities and various stakeholders in support of the national food security programme.
President Director of Perum BULOG, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dr Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, said sport is an effective means of strengthening communication and building collaboration.
The event also discussed various strategic issues more openly with stakeholders, including efforts to safeguard national food security.
“Through activities like this, we are not only exercising together, but also strengthening communication and building a shared understanding with stakeholders about the importance of maintaining national food security. Strong collaboration is one of the keys to achieving food self-sufficiency,” he said in a written statement on Saturday (11/7/2026).
According to him, the success of the food security programme cannot be achieved by one party alone, but requires the support and synergy of all elements, from government and media to communities and the wider public.
For this reason, BULOG continues to open closer and more constructive channels of communication with all stakeholders.
“This match is a moment to strengthen relationships whilst discussing BULOG’s various programmes in a relaxed setting. We hope the synergy built here will further strengthen support for government policies in the food sector,” he added.
On the occasion, various topics were discussed, ranging from efforts to maintain the stability of food supply and prices, strengthening the Government Rice Reserve (CBP), optimising the absorption of farmers’ harvests, to the importance of collaboration in conveying accurate information to the public about government programmes in the food sector.
The presence of a celebrities’ team was also part of efforts to broaden public communication. Going forward, BULOG plans to invite celebrities, communities and media to see firsthand the absorption of farmers’ unhusked rice, warehouse operations and various strategic BULOG programmes.
In this way, public understanding of the government’s efforts to achieve food self-sufficiency is expected to increase.
Through the BULOG Mini Soccer Fun Match, Perum BULOG hopes the relationships built with stakeholders will grow stronger and produce more robust collaboration in support of national food security.
The spirit of sportsmanship, open communication and synergy built through the event are also hoped to become a shared foundation for safeguarding the realisation of Indonesia’s food self-sufficiency.
The event was attended by the President Director of Perum BULOG, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Dr Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, S.Sos., S.H., M.Han., together with the Director of Human Resources and Transformation of Perum BULOG, Ade Prastya Nurdin.
Also participating were the BULOG employees’ team, the celebrities’ team, the Tidar Setia 93 team and members of the media, who competed in an atmosphere full of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
