A Bulog employee in Tulang Bawang District, Lampung, Ahmad Fajar Aries Saputra (40), has been killed after being slashed with a sharp weapon by two assailants. The victim sustained severe wounds to his neck area, which was nearly severed.

According to detikSumbagsel, the killing occurred at the victim’s rented accommodation in Suka Bhakti Village, Gedung Aji Baru District, Tulang Bawang District, Lampung Province, on Friday 13 March 2026 at 08.30 Western Indonesian Time.

As shown in photographs obtained by detikSumbagsel, the victim was evacuated to hospital in serious condition. Lampung Regional Police Public Relations Head Kombes Yuni Iswandari confirmed the incident.

“It is confirmed that a serious assault occurred this morning in Tulang Bawang District, in which the victim died as a result of multiple stab wounds from a sharp weapon,” she said on Friday 13 March.

Yuni added that the victim died with numerous stab wounds across his entire body, ranging from the abdomen to a nearly severed neck.

“Several wounds to the abdomen, face, body and the back of the neck. The victim’s body has been evacuated to hospital,” she said.

Yuni stated that the Criminal Investigation Unit of Tulang Bawang Police is currently pursuing the two perpetrators.

“The team is still conducting a pursuit of the perpetrators,” she said.
