Bulog Distributes Food Assistance to 3,827 Beneficiaries in West Jakarta

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Perum Bulog has distributed food assistance in the form of basic necessity packages to 3,827 beneficiaries in Kedaung, Kaliangke, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The thousands of beneficiaries are residents registered in the 2015 National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN). “Each person receives 20 kilograms of rice and four litres of cooking oil. These are residents from eight neighbourhood units (RW), namely RW 01 to RW 08. The distribution process is ongoing,” said the Head of Kedaung Kaliangke Sub-district, M. Ghufri Fatchani, when contacted in Jakarta on Friday. His office has distributed invitations to the beneficiary residents according to the 2015 DTSEN data to attend at the designated distribution times. On Wednesday (8/4), the basic necessity distribution was held in the courtyard of the Kedaung Kaliangke Sub-district Office. “The morning distribution was for beneficiaries from RW 01, 02, and RW 03. The afternoon session was for beneficiaries from RW 05, 06, and RW 08 of Kedaung Kaliangke,” said Ghufri. Then on Thursday (9/4), the activity was held at the RW 07 Post in Kedaung Kaliangke. Meanwhile, on Friday, the distribution was held at the sub-district office for beneficiaries from RW 03, 05, and RW 06.
