Cimahi (ANTARA) - State logistics agency Perum Bulog has distributed 1,184.16 tonnes of rice reserves to 39,472 beneficiaries in Cimahi City, West Java, to fulfil the food aid allocation for the July, August, and September 2026 period.

Perum Bulog Finance Director Hendra Susanto stated in Cimahi on Thursday that the assistance amounted to 30 kilograms per beneficiary, as part of the government’s policy to support the community.

“Currently, the allocation for July, August, and September is being distributed this August, with 30 kilograms per beneficiary,” he explained.

He noted that the distribution for this period, carried out in August, is larger compared to the February-March allocation, which provided 10 kilograms per month, or a total of 20 kilograms per recipient.

He also mentioned that the distribution in Setiamanah Urban Village, Cimahi City, is the first phase for the July-September period across five districts and cities in the Greater Bandung area.

“Coincidentally, Setiamanah Urban Village in Cimahi City is the first of the five districts/cities in Greater Bandung. In Setiamanah itself, we are distributing 49 tonnes to 1,647 recipients,” he said.

On the occasion, Hendra stated that the beneficiaries are determined based on the National Socio-Economic Unified Data (DTSEN) issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs, targeting community groups in the first to fourth income deciles.
