BULOG Director General Attends Police-Military Iftar, Urges Synergy for National Stability
Director General of Perum BULOG, Letjen TNI (Ret) Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, attended an iftar meal organised by the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and Indonesian Military (TNI) at Bhayangkara Field, Indonesian National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.
Ramdhani’s participation demonstrated support for strengthening inter-agency synergy amongst state institutions in safeguarding national stability, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event, which was attended by various institutional leaders and national figures, served as a platform for networking and reinforcing solidarity between the National Police and the Military. The Ramadan period was leveraged as an opportunity to strengthen coordination and unity in addressing the nation’s various challenges.
During the occasion, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasised the importance of solidarity and synergy between the police and military in maintaining national security stability, particularly amid increasingly complex global dynamics.
The National Police Chief stated that the unstable global geopolitical situation, including conflicts in the Middle East, has the potential to cause widespread impacts on global conditions, encompassing humanitarian, social, and economic dimensions. He noted that such conflicts can trigger humanitarian crises and affect global economic stability, including rising energy prices that impact the national economy.
Further, the National Police Chief stressed the importance of strengthening national self-sufficiency as emphasised by President Prabowo Subianto, particularly through reinforcing strategic sectors such as food security and energy resilience.
In response, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani stated that Perum BULOG holds the mandate for managing strategic food supplies and is prepared to support government programmes in strengthening national food security.
“This networking opportunity is very important for reinforcing synergy amongst institutions in facing future challenges. BULOG, as part of the ecosystem of national food security, is ready to support government efforts in maintaining food stability and strengthening national self-sufficiency,” said Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani in a statement on Thursday (13 March 2026).
He added that cross-institutional collaboration is key to maintaining national stability, both in terms of security and food availability for society.
Through this moment of solidarity, it is hoped that synergy amongst various state institutions will strengthen further in safeguarding national stability whilst supporting strategic government programmes for public welfare.
