Bulog CEO Wins Best 50 CEO Awards 2026 Thanks to Record 5 Million Tonne CBP
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The President Director (CEO) of Perum Bulog, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, has received the prestigious Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2026 for strengthening the government’s rice reserve stockpile (CBP) to reach 5,000,198 tonnes as of 23 April 2026.
“This award belongs to the entire Bulog family. It serves as motivation for us to work even harder in ensuring national food availability,” Rizal stated when confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday.
Perum Bulog has once again recorded a significant milestone that reinforces its strategic role in maintaining national food security.
He stated that amid the historic achievement of rice stocks exceeding 5 million tonnes, he received the prestigious Indonesia Best 50 CEO Awards 2026 in the “Most Popular” category, organised by The Iconomics.
“This award is a reflection of the continuity of leadership and Bulog’s performance since last year (2025),” Rizal said.
Previously, in 2025 under Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani’s leadership, Bulog successfully managed a Government Food Reserve (CPP) stock of 4.2 million tonnes, a strategic achievement that significantly contributed to realising national rice self-sufficiency by the end of 2025.
And as of 23 April 2026, the rice stock managed by the state-owned food company reached 5,000,198 tonnes, the highest figure in the history of Bulog’s establishment. This achievement serves as an important milestone in strengthening the foundation of national food resilience.
Rizal emphasised that the award received is not merely an individual accomplishment but a representation of the collective efforts of all Bulog personnel in absorbing domestic farmers’ paddy and managing food reserves to maintain stability at the consumer level.
“The achievement of a 5 million tonne stock is concrete proof that the state is present for the people,” he affirmed.
He added that this success is inseparable from various strategic steps taken by Bulog, starting from optimising the absorption of domestic farmers’ paddy and rice, strengthening cross-sector synergies, to modernising logistics infrastructure.
“Currently, Bulog is supported by more than 1,500 owned warehouses and over 1,200 partner warehouses throughout Indonesia,” Rizal stated.
He further added that the best CEO award received coincides with the achievement of the highest government rice reserve stock, affirming Bulog’s position as a key institution in the national food ecosystem, not only as a stabiliser but also as a driver of food independence.
With a stronger foundation and visionary leadership, Bulog is optimistic about continuing to maintain food supply and price stability, while promoting the realisation of sustainable national self-sufficiency and food sovereignty.
