JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Perum Bulog has assured that the availability of Minyakita stock is in a safe condition and accessible in traditional markets, particularly in the Jakarta area. This is based on the results of a direct inspection or monitoring by the Director General of Perum Bulog, Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani, along with Marketing Director Febby Novita, at Pasar Minggu and Pasar Grogol, Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/4/2026). During the activity, Bulog collaborated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and SMEs Office, Perumda Pasar Jaya, as well as the Bulog Regional Office for DKI Jakarta & Banten, to ensure that Minyakita distribution runs smoothly and evenly. Rizal stated that Minyakita stocks are adequate and capable of meeting public needs. “We ensure that Minyakita is available and sold at prices that remain affordable for the public. Currently, prices are monitored in accordance with the HET at Rp 15,700 per litre,” he said. He explained that demand for Minyakita has increased in line with the shift in public consumption from bulk oil to simple packaged oil. To anticipate this, Bulog has submitted a request for an additional supply quota to keep distribution stable. “We see an increase in demand, so we have taken anticipatory steps by proposing additional supplies. The aim is for the public not to have difficulty obtaining Minyakita,” he said. Rizal added that for national rice commodities, current stocks reach 4.7 million tonnes with ongoing paddy procurement, Bulog is optimistic that national food availability remains secure. According to him, monitoring activities will continue to be carried out periodically in various regions as part of efforts to maintain food stability and public purchasing power. “Bulog, together with the government, will continue to be present among the public to ensure food needs, including rice and Minyakita, are well available,” he concluded.
