Bulog Bali Accelerates Food Aid Distribution, Tabanan Progress Reaches 90%

The distribution of food aid in the form of rice allocated for July, August, and September 2024 in Tabanan is being accelerated. A total of 33,595, or approximately 90% of the 37,097 Food Aid Recipients (PBP) in Tabanan, have received their assistance.

The distribution of food aid is being carried out by the State Logistics Agency (Perum Bulog) in collaboration with the local government. Acceleration efforts are ongoing to ensure all recipients in Tabanan receive their rights according to the established allocation.

The Regional Leader of Bulog Bali, Simon Melkisedek Lakapu, stated that for each monthly allocation, each recipient receives 10 kilograms (kg) of rice. Consequently, with a three-month allocation provided at once, each recipient receives a total of 30 kg of rice.

Overall in Bali, the food aid distribution programme targets 302,397 recipients, with a total amount of rice distributed reaching 9,071,910 kg. Bulog Bali continues to coordinate with local governments down to the village level to expedite the process.

“Bulog is committed to ensuring that this food aid is distributed accurately, in the correct amount, and on time,” said Simon.

To be eligible for the food aid, individuals must belong to deciles 1-4 within the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN). Recipients must present an invitation, their National Identity Card (KTP), and their Family Card (KK) to collect the aid.
