Buleleng Government Provides Nine Motorcycles Worth Rp 280 Million to Traditional Village Councils

The Buleleng Regency Government (Pemkab) has handed over nine motorcycles to the Majelis Desa Adat Alitan in nine districts. The assistance, worth approximately Rp 280 million and sourced from the Buleleng Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), is intended to support the mobility of administrators in fostering traditional villages.

“Hopefully, with this transportation assistance, the guidance of traditional villages in each region can be further improved,” said Buleleng Regent I Nyoman Sutjidra at his official residence on Friday (3/7/2026).

The Majelis Desa Adat Alitan, Sutjidra explained, plays an important role in maintaining the existence and development of traditional villages in Buleleng. For this reason, the Buleleng Regency Government provided support through the provision of operational facilities.

Vehicle operational costs will be covered by the traditional village budget. Sutjidra is optimistic that the administrators of the Majelis Desa Adat Alitan can make maximum use of the assistance.

“I am confident that the members of the Majelis Desa Adat Alitan are senior and have a high commitment to ngayah (voluntary service),” said Sutjidra.

With these vehicles, the Buleleng Regency Government hopes that coordination and guidance for traditional villages across the region can run more effectively and reach the community optimally.
