Bukit Asam to Mitigate Export Policy via DSI
PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk has stated that it is anticipating the single-door export policy through PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (DSI). The Corporate Secretary of Bukit Asam, Eko Prayitno, noted that this step is being taken internally through coordination with stakeholders and regulators.
“To ensure that the company’s operational and commercial export activities continue to run smoothly, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and good corporate governance,” he stated in an information disclosure on Tuesday, 2 June 2026.
However, Eko added that the company has not yet estimated the operational, financial, or legal risks involved, as the Government Regulation regarding the Export of Strategic Natural Resources has not yet been issued.
Overall, the issuer, trading under the stock code PTBA, stated that it does not yet have specific plans regarding the new single-door export regulation. “The company will continue to monitor the progress of the planned implementation of this policy and will take mitigation steps based on comprehensive studies,” said Eko.
Previously, President Prabowo Subianto announced the formation of an export agency to prevent practices such as undervoing, transfer pricing, and the flight of export proceeds. Following a six-month transition period, all exports must pass through PT DSI starting 1 January 2027.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that during the transition period, every exporter is required to report via the CEISA 4.0 platform owned by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia will temporarily serve as the supervisor of export activities during this transition.
“During this period, evaluations will continue throughout the first three months, which will serve as the basis for the next stage of implementation,” Airlangga said during a press conference at Wisma Danantara on Wednesday, 3 June 2026.
